| Well here we go again, the emotional rollercoaster is back on the rails again as Town shocked potential 4th place finishers with a sound win, and good value we were too. Steve Ashton stabbed home the all important winner on 61 minutes as Town matched Benfield all the way. Stu Dixon was sent off by a ref who also issued 5 yellow cards to Town when the home side got none and there was not a bad tackle in the game. Young keeper Michael Thackeray made four excellent saves to keep Town in the game. Washington beat Jarrow to keep things on the boil, however should Bishops and Washington lose on Saturday then we are safe, but knowing our luck that's too much to expect and it will go down to the final game at Morpeth,but should all three of us lose our last game we will still be safe. |
