| Here we go again! Just when you think it's all over, Andy Toman's men beat high flyers Consett away from home. My Information is we did all things we didn't do last week. Danny Earl at last found his scoring boots, getting a second half brace to give Town a 2-goal cushion. The home side got one back on 82 minutes which made things a bit nervy until the final whistle. Players worthy of mention: Jonathan Payne and Paul Harvey in central defence, keeper Kevin Wolfe was also excellent but Danny gets the vote for MOM for his goals and his persistance. So Tuesday at Jarrow is now another big game, three points there and we can perhaps start to feel we are progressing toward safety. Anything less and it's back to square one. |
