| We have had this situation many times this season, a good performance followed by mediocrity! With no Millington and Bosco, Bettson was moved to centre back. It certainly does not help when you concede a penalty inside three minutes to go 1-0 down. On thirteen minutes Danny Earl missed simple chance from four yards out, the ball was cleared and Shildon scored at the other end (2-0). Town worked hard for the rest of the half but to no effect (HT 2-0). The second half was a lot better, Hume on for Lenaghan and he led line well. Stuart Dixon carried on a one-man war in midfield, battling for everything. Town hit the post and had one cleared off the line. Poor finishing cost us dearly today. |
