| Town were removed from the Vase today without so much as a whimper. The 0-6 home defeat speakes volumes about the performance. Allowing for the awful conditions Town were outran, outplayed and generally outmanouvered. Even at half time I felt the conditions would assist us and we could get back into it, how wrong I was. Within a minute of the restart, comical defending allowed the visitors a third goal, by 56 minutes it was four and the game was over as a contest. I have defended the team in my reports this season and with some justification, however today was a shambolic performance, laced with errors and lack of effort. I know that some players were not available for various reasons but with the current league position a blinding priority, the players that come in must now show their worth to the club and reverse the situation, they carry the responsibility on the field. I know it is not for the lack of coaching and guidance, so come on lads stand up and be counted!
