Northallerton Town 4 Easington 2 |
| Pre Season Friendly |

| Town had a good workout against a decent team that worked hard to stop Town playing, however a fine shot from 18 yards gave Town the lead on 10 minutes. Town continued to dominate with Rob Beston and Danny Hawkins on the flanks causing most of the problems. This was not to last though as the visitors hit back on 25 minutes to equalise when the home defence failed to clear and Easington took advantage to make it 1-1. This lifted the visitors and a superb finish made it 1-2. Luke Bytheway scored from the spot after he was pulled back in the box 2-2. Andy Toman again made changes for the second half and this paid dividends as Town held the ball much better and played quick incisive football,Town scored direct from a corner to make it 3-2.Then Gary Shardha made an excellent break down the right crossing for Danny Hawkins to finish from close range 4-2. Town never looked back from here finishing in total control. An improved performance from the Horden game, Andy Toman was reasonably happy with the performance after the game, but is fully aware of what still needs to be done. |
