| A professional Town beat Ashington for the second time in the league with a comfortable 3-1 at Ainderby Road today. A minutes silence was perfectly respected for Adele and Town played well from the off. Chillis opened the account only for Ashington to equalise two minutes later. Charlo scored a good one on one just before half time. Town had plenty of play in the second half with Chillis making it 3-1 after 75 minutes. Great performance with 2 new signings fitting in well. The defence should take a special mention as they looked solid all game. It's Ryton on TUESDAY in the League Cup. |
