| They say old habits die hard and Town proved that to be true yesterday slumping to 0-3 defeat. They were a goal down in 4 mins as a speculative cross looked to be fairly harmless as no strikers were near the ball but keeper Pisani decided it was the defenders job with his back to the ball to clear the ball, when in actual fact it was his and the ball rolled between the pair of them into the net.
Town scratched about never really reaching any heights, midfield stood off again allowing the visitors time and space to play as they wished. Town went two down again Pisani was the culprit as he came to clear a ball outside the area, unfortunately his poor kick fell to the feet of Garry Barnes 35 yds out who lobbed the ball into the empty net 2-0. Town rallied in the second half the introduction of Steve Purcifer at central defence tightened things up.However we conceded a third goal in the later stages 3-0.The management team are looking to add a few new faces before Saturdays visit to Seaham,
with Four players out suspended and two doubtful with injury we need an injection of players to lift the situation, they to many players in this squad who lack committment to the cause, here one game then missing for two, that is simply not acceptable and needs to sorted as a matter of urgency.
